Hi
I am looking for full livery in the Devon / somerset area (Cullompton/Wellington/Willand/Tiverton area) with good off road hacking and a school for evening/ winter work for one horse.
Can anyone give me any clues as what is good and where to avoid please.

Thank you

Hi there, try Zoe at Southey Farm, Wrangway, Wellington its only a couple of minutes from the town. She has a school and also holds clinics with Fiona Foy. Also 100 yards down road is a lady called Joe she has a small livery which did have a stable going and not expensive either. They are both spotless yards, very professional. Email if you need numbers for them.

Hi There

Try Gingerland Farm, which is 5 mins from Willand in Cullompton.

They do full and part livery. It is a really friendly yard, everyone is so nice, I have had my horses there for 9 years now. They do transport to local competitions if you havent got your own, and the owners and staff are really supportive if you need it. Although happy to leave you to your own devices also.

There is american barn type stabling and an outdoor type yard, an inddor and outdoor school, jumping paddock and good hacking, and in Silverton Hunt Country.

See the link below.

The owner is Sue Shere.

Good luck finding somewhere.

Just wanted to give another vote for Gingerlands. I moved here a few months ago from another yard in the area which was not nice at all, and myself and my horse could not be happier.

Gingerlands is professional yet friendly, and Sue Shere, the owner, runs the place as a business not as a hobby or a substitute for a social life. The staff are very competent, qualified and approachable.

The place is very flexible - unlike some in the area the hours are not restricted, and there are both indoor and outdoor schools. Turnout is excellent with 24/7 available in summer.
