Livery near Chiswick, West London

Hi... I am looking for livery for my pony and horse so that I can move them up to be near me in Chiswick as I currently never see them as they are 2 hours away! They live out 24/7 and are checked fed and watered each day, I would love it if I could find somewhere where they could continue to do this but am open to any options!

Does anyone know of a good yard anywhere near chiswick??? I am happy to drive about 45mins both ways.

Actually you have a few options. I don't know about the M4 corridor which is the obvious one, but if you cut through Roehampton and went down the A3 there are quite a few. We are in Dorking so think from Chiswick thats a bit too far but there are a few yards in Claygate, Ripely, Leatherhead etc. The obvious would be to look for stables in Wimbledon but there is of course a premium attached to that sort of convenience, plus which of course not quite so quick to get back as you can't go back via Richmond Park/Robin Hood roundabout ( or indeed after dark!)

I would just say though that of course, your 45 mins could be wildly extended depending on the time you decided to drive down so maybe that should be your first consideration?

I am pretty flexible on my travel times so can arrange that to suit. Prices on the other hand are a worry, so centre of town will be impossible!... I only keep my 25 year old pony because I am sentimental and can't let him go so the cost to keep the 2 will be bit of an issue, which is why a livery that would let them live out 24/7 would be a good option.... also it is what they love they are not keen on being stabled for long periods of time!
