Livery near edinburgh - opinions

Hi we are looking at buying a house in either Pathead or Howgate.

the only yards I know of close to Howgate are Mount lothian - does anyone know much about it? I cant find a website!

Pathead seems to have a few more - Oxenfoord and Burnside look interesting. Does anyone know anything about Burnside?

pm me if you have opinions you would rather not share on an open board!

And if anyone have any other suggestions close to either of these then please let me know!

Don't know about Burnside but I'm at Oxenfoord and really enjoy it there. Depends what you're looking for really...

DIY, stable with turnout ( 24/7 in summer) and an outdoor school usable in most weathers. Not overly fussy as long as things are safe, but like reasonable grazing!

The grazing at Oxenfoord is good and 24/7 in the summer. Two outdoor schools that I have used in most weathers, hacking tracks around the fields etc. My girl is only 6 and needs a lot of turn out which is why I chose Oxenfoord.
