Hi,

Can anyone recommend any decent livery yards close to Nottingham City Centre (preferably to the east/south). Horses are currently based in East Leake, but I have had enough of the journey!

Looking for flood-lit school, decent sized stables, individual/paired turn out, and some hacking. Preferably after DIY but would consider part-livery depending on prices.

Thanks :)

Have you seen West Bridgord EC? They have a website. Can't remember the address at the mo but if you type them into a search engine you should be able to find it.

Aww wish you'd come to mine but i know it's too basic :( I know someone who's at Arkenfield on full livery, not sure whether they offer part or DIY.

Dilbert - yeah its a shame as you are so much closer, but I really need a floodlit school!

As for the West Bridgford EC, I wouldnt go there if someone paid me!!! But thanks anyway

xx

No probs, just throwing it out there, have no experience of them myself.Hope you don't mind me asking, is there a particular reason for not liking them?

How about http://www.localriding.com/buckleap-stables.html

We do have a floodlit school it's just rubbish lol.

Is avenue farm at normanton nearer? Guess your previous yard is probably nearest. How about Bassingfield riding school? That's close. There's a yard somewhere opposite ridding ton petrol station , parklands or something...or all the yards in Gotham although guess you've probably visited them already?

Hi All,

I've also recently moved into the Nottingham area (Long Eaton / Sawley) and am looking for a livery yard in the area.

Ideally need part livery (Mon - Fri), floodlit school (indoor a bonus!) and good hacking. Ideally under 5 miles away (any direction), but would travel further for the right place.

Any ideas (and contact details) would be greatly appreciated - I'm going mad searching as a lot of the places online seem to be now closed / have out of date contact details and with not knowing the area its hard to know where to start!!

Many thanks :0)

Emma

Bassingfield is brilliant. Not west bridgford. Do not touch it. Elms farm in costock is fantastic but I think they only do full livery.
