I work in York and live 5 miles west of Malton so am looking for livery between the two. I ideally would like livery 5 days a week (not to include riding) and DIY at the weekends, although I can be quite flexible. Must have an arena, everyday turn out and quiet hacking!

I event so it would be nice to be on a yard with other people who like to get out and about!

Any recommendations welcomed!

THanks!

Thanks! I have looked at their website. It does look nice but, looking at the OS map, I can't see any local bridleways, without having to go on a long hack. Do you know if you need to hack over the railway line to get anywhere? My horse is not good to hack so I would be reluctant to move anywhere that could potentially make him worse!

Location wise is ok. A bit far from home but not too far out of my way to get to work so do-able!

There website says they are full, but I would certainly have a look if a place became available!

I have looked at the Sinkinson house website before and emialed, but they siad they don't do livery! That was a whilse ago mind!

If you're in York, pop out to Thompsons opposite the Livestock Centre at Murton, they have a notice board which sometimes has liveries advertised. Also, if you go home "the back way" (Gate Helmsley, Buttercrambe to Malton) look at the notice board at the tack shop in BATA at Gate Helmsley - the girls there are very helpful as well.
