I'm shortly relocating to the Rothwell/Rushton area of Northants, near Kettering.

Now looking for assisted DIY or Part Livery - can anyone help/recommend?

All year turnout for the part of the day needed, and a floodlit school to train during the dark winter months.

Darwens has nice facilities, in Rothwell near the 2nd double roundabout going to Orton way if you know it.

Or there's Manor farm in Rushton also, but if I remember rightly, you have to hire the school separate as it's not on the yard? Might be wrong.

Or best bet if you want some more private little yards, have a look on welland valley feeds website under livery adverts :)

No problem! It's my home town, just got back from visiting there. I used to be Darwens, then had my pony on grazing down Austens...but ended up riding various horses round quite a few too lol. Where abouts are you moving too and how far are you looking to travel for livery? [PM if you want]
 
^ That's the one down Glendon road I was trying to think of! I know it closed down, but I *think* that was when it used to be a riding school. I cannot for the life of me remember. It should still be open as a livery. Now I've just remembered the name of it, I think my friend used to be down there....I'll send her a message. Still not heard back from my other friend yet sorry x
 
Violet Lane is still open as a livery, but last time I looked down there (about a year ago), the fencing was poor which worried me as it is so near to the A14.

Will pm you with some other yards as I'm stabled around here.

I am also looking for DIY / Assisted DIY livery around kettering/rothwell/rushton/desborough way.
Needs to have a floodlit school and friendly people. Some form of turn out all year round too.
Also not too expensive! Any advice as I'm new to the area.

I know this post/thread was a while ago, but I need help please!!!

I'm looking for a DIY/Assisted yard near Geddington, so looking at locations such as Rothwell, Rushdon, Kettering, Corby and Desborough if anyone knows of any. If so do you have some contact details or a website for the yards?

I need 2 spaces for 2 geldings :) Good size school, jumps, stables, 24/7 turnout, good hacking, parking for my 3.5t, friendly yard, tack room, not ridiculously expensive, loads of storage room for all my horsey stuff.

Having trouble finding anything on the internet or there's no mobile number or postcode!
Would be fab if anyone has any yards in mind.

Hello... Sorry to jump on the post and I know it’s an old thread, but I’m on the hunt for a yard I’m the Rothwell area for my 2 geldings too... Should anyone know of anything please do get in touch 😊 thank you
