I did post this previously on New Lounge but still looking. Didn't know if anyone who competes in this area may be able to help or have any suggestions. I think I know most of the main yards in my area but none of them seem to fit the bill for one reason or another, so thought would post again on the off chance that anyone on here might have any ideas.

I currently have my horse in a lovely private yard, but unfortunately have to cross a fairly busy road to use the school at a neighbouring yard. As the nights are drawing in this isn't really ideal so I'm looking for somewhere on a DIY/ Assisted DIY livery basis in New Forest/ Romsey and surrounding areas. I need somewhere that's well run with good facilities, i.e floodlit school, all year turnout. I do need somewhere with a decent surface as compete to a reasonable level.
Unfortunately, yards like this that offer DIY are in short supply in my area so wondered if there was anyone with a smaller, private yard that might be looking to share. I'm v experienced and BHS qualified, friendly and happy to help out/share duties, although work full time so would need to fit round this.
If anyone has any ideas I'd be really grateful to hear.

My horses yard is near Marchwood and would be perfect, but we have a waitlist, sorry.

I know what you mean though. It is very difficult to get good facilities and DIY around here!

There are a few places close to Foxhills that do DIY, and you could always hire Foxhills school, would that be any good?

Hi Burtie
The problem is that it is dark in the Winter when I have to ride after work - I have 2 schools in v close proximity to where I am now but not particularly safe to be crossing roads in the dark! Wouldn't be looking to move from where I am now otherwise, as apart from that it is great. From what I've heard the school at Foxhills gets quite busy as well. I really need somewhere that has facilities on site.
