Have had a dreadful weekend viewing yards, have seen the bad and the down right ugly - never found the good! Am looking for part/full livery for my lovely gentleman hacking buddy. Would prefer small or private yard, am currently off junction 25 M1 but am prepared to travel a reasonable distance. I adore my horse and putting him in someone elses care is an incredibly difficult decision. Any recommendations would be hugely appreciated. Thanks Daisy

Have you tried wood pecker stables in Dale abbey? They have a website I think and only do part/full liv packages.

Theres also draycott house, don know a lot about livery there?

I think cloudsidde farm on ilkeston road sandiacre offer livery services, but you would have to go down the main road to get on the trail to hack out I think? Unless you can go from the back?

Will keep thinking!

I would highly recommend lakeview at borrowash. However I'm not sure whether they are taking new Liveries at the moment with everything that they have been through.

Elvaston castle do liveries, don't know what it is like though.

Oh thanks very much! WP is full, have not tried Draycott House as I think it might be a bit 'competitive' for us!! Will try Cloudside, road not an issue but thought they put their horses across road in Summer?

Many, many thanks - pulling hair out!

Hi KK, yes like Lakeview but agree lots ago and trying to be a bit senstive around timing of contacting Donna. Elvaston, heard mixed stories and think very DIY!

Thanks very much!

Think they do but maybe you could come to some arrangmemt in your livery that they bring him in for you when you want to ride etc? Not sure if they offer that but you could ask?
