Hi, i have just found out im going back to uni (i swear, im gonna be a student my whole life!) in sept. and as i cant bear to part with pony, he is coming with me. so i will need to start looking for a new yard, in a completely new area. which seems a little daunting...

does anyone know of anywhere? i will be at oxford brookes, in headington?? i believe (postcode OX3 0BP if that helps) ideally would like option of part liv/assisted diy, good hacking and some sort of school and something to jump. pony doesnt like being in stable for too long so turn out is also important.

or just anywhere close by! i can do my own research when i visit but at the mo got no idea where to start! any help would be much appreciated!

They have two yards both in decent distance from where you are going I think.

I have kept my horses at both yards but it was 15 years ago and both very nice with off road hacking and only moved as moved out of area

p.s did a route planner and both yards above are just under 9 miles and 15mins from the postcode you gave
 
I'm at a lovely little yard on Shotover in Wheatley (OX33) fabulous off road hacking, year round turnout. No arena but we have a set-aside area in the field to ride in and a small woodchip 20m square indoor area to see you through the worse of the winter when you don't want to hack in the rain!
