Having just found out I've got a new job in Oxford, I'm looking to move to South Oxfordshire and need to find somewhere for my horse to live (no rush to move him as he's currently at home with my parents).

I'm ideally looking for somewhere vaguely near the M40 in South Oxfordshire and need to find some good livery places so I know where I can start to look for houses (horse's home far more important than mine!).

I'm ideally looking for a big yard where there are full-livery opportunities (as I might need to have him on full-livery initially for a few months).

REQUIREMENTS:
Daily turnout in winter
All-weather school
Off-road hacking

BONUSES:
A horse walker
An indoor school
People with horseboxes who can take me to shows

I'm also really interested in dressage so I would definitely consider a dressage yard that offers livery as I'd be looking to have regular lessons anyways.

Anyone give any recommendations?

Is Aspen Grove out that way? Have a look on their website.

Thanks that's really extensive list! I'm thinking I'm going to end up living near either Watlington or High Wycombe and will be working on the Oxford Business Park (so Cowley end of Oxford), so if you know of nay good places near there that would be good. It's always good to find somewhere that's well recommended!

It might be worth looking at Pyatts Farm Livery at Lane End. It has good hacking, out door school that is used for polo so huge! Often have trainers there.

Hey there! I have info for you for the water stock dressage center as I go riding there although in my view it is quite pricey but it is an amazing place and they have many friendly people there.

This thread is 11 years old. I know the OP said no rush, but that's a long time to still be looking for a yard
