I know this had been asked before but as our livery prices have just been increased I just wondered what other people pay and what is included.

Up until last week I paid £27.50 for 24/7 grazing if wanted and a stable with the use of large outdoor school, gallops and x country jumps ( not in winter).

Price has just gone up to £32.50 for the above plus any hay / haylage required.

This does not seem too bad for those that keep there horses in a lot or get fed alot of hay but Aleeta is out most of the time and when she does come in only eats 1 section of hay (although she is offered more) plus we don't really use the school or the gallops. This price applies to everyone regardless of horse size.

What do you pay and what does it include? What do you think about what I am paying?
 
around £50 a week just for grazing, field shelter and some haylage if little grass. Shoes etc are extra.....

I think i'd kill to pay what you are and get what you are getting!

I pay more than £32.50 and get restricted turnout, stable, hay and use of an arena. Would love gallops and XC

I woldn't mind too much about the increase as you now get hay as an extra. Just MHO

I pay £15 in summer for stable and grazing with use of lovely rubber outdoor school and loads of hacking on private land ( is a working farm) pay £20 a week in winter and that includes as much hayledge as i want.
Would be prepared to pay more for use of all weather gallops or indoor school or x country course.
 
£20 per week for each horse and £10 per week for the shetland..have all year turnout, 24/7 april to oct and day TO in winter,stabled at night, straw in winter is 50p per week. menage which is unusable in winter, can ride in one of the fields in summer, and i keep my lorry on YO dads farm for free
 
I think its fair for the facilities you have. The cost and time required to maintain a place like this is neverending. And remember it has been paid for by the owners. They also have the hassle of repairing fences, jumps etc. I charge £25 a week for stabling, turnout and use of good arena. All hay is free. And they get lots. But I am really choosy about who I have. I dont make a profit and much less than this it would be costing me money! Id stick with it if I was you. Before anyone asks- no room!!
 
I pay £15 per week per horse, the price is for stable/day time turnout. No school or any other facilities.
 
I pay £20 per week for my stable and grazing (daytime only) and use of the indoor and outdoor school. Its just gone up from £17 but still think I get a bargain
 
Around £450 a month for full livery (on shavings and haylage) with full use of the facilities (indoor and outdoor schools and lunging arena). That includes just about daily turnout (they've had maybe 4 days in over the last month due to snow / freaky weather).
 
£20 per week plus haylage/straw. Haylage/straw £21p/w in winter but pretty much free in summer as long as your horse is out 24/7. (i.e. you can fill up the odd net whilst your horse is being groomed etc and if you want to keep your horse in overnight for a show they don't mind)

Restricted T/O in winter (muddy square you can use for an hour a day or so), unlimited T/O in summer.

includes use of 2 arenas although indoor only available when the riding school not using it and outdoor floods in winter. Full set of jumps, regular shows on site, free trailer parking and nice hacking on quiet roads.

I think it is a little expensive TBH but the people are nice and my horse is happy plus I work there part time so all in all I'm happy to stay.
 
I pay £5 per day which normally works out at approx. £140 pm, for this i get the turnout (24 hours from march till November) but out as long as I want the rest of the time, stable, 3 floodlight schools, 1 which is indoor, the other 2 are outdoor 1 of which is 40x20 softtrack, the other was 70 x 40 but has now been extended so is prob more 100x 60!! show jumps, xc course all year round, off road hacking, shows held in the summer, and there are also services which you pay extra for. The tack room is also alarmed and the yard has cctv. And free lorry/trailer parking! I'm very happy with my yard!
 
£20 p/w for the box, with use of the school and floodlights. T/O in the summer, full course of SJ in the summer and mini XC course. Also a small indoor school with light, which is mainly used for lunging.
Then add £1 per use of the walker = aprox £27 p/w.
Thats without hay, shavings and feed which we buy.
 
£45 per horse per week for;
- Stable
- Grazing, if thefields are bone dry (we have clay ground so nothing drains and it stays wet for ages! So we haven't has turnout for months!)
- Feed (cool mix, Alfa-A & Hifi)
- Bedding (two bales of flax)
- Hay
- Horse walker
- An indoor, covered and 100m x 40m outdoor (we can only use these if there are no lessons going on, no shows and if the arena's haven't bene prepared for a show)

For what your offered the price is pretty good I think but I suppose if you decide to not take advantage of what your paying for and you therefore think your paying too much then why not move?
 
No i'm actually quite happy where I am and to pay the extra as I know when aleeta gets older and is being ridden that I will use all facilities and the hay / haylage will get munched through like no tomorrow. We also have another horse that will really benenfit from the unlimited haylage. I was only asking as there are a few people with ponies / good doers that are out 24/7 that are starting to complain that they pay the same price as a 16.3hh warm blood that is in everynight and uses the facilities everyday. Just wanted to compare prices really.

We pay £15 per week for unlimited grass, stable and a little off-road riding. We also have a schooling area fenced off in a small field with use of jumps.
 
I am moving in two weeks to a yard where I will be paying $100/month (grr where's my pound sign gone??!!) for:
As much turnout as I want well to a point..
Nice big stable
Two outdoor schools, one floodlit one with SJ's
Great hacking
Tack space and storage for hay/shavings etc

I think the owner did mention this year they are having a horsealker installed/all weather gallops/XC course ($$ permitting)

At the moment I pay a pound a day for a patch of grass, unmanaged, good hacking, no school, no proper jumps, no stable....(can you tell why Im moving??)
 
I pay £45 per month :P ... that doesnt include hay or any other feed and its diy ... We have use of a large sand school with showjumps, 5 fields and I have to say a large stable .

Because my friend and I own the filly together We half everything so in total its £100 per month for livery
 
Our livery has also just increased to £32 a week (stable, haylage and limited winter turnout) and that is all year around. We have use of the school which has just been resurfaced, but I think there is a chance we will have to pay for the lights soon.
 
Hiya, I pay £40 a week at Vicky's, well its £30 for the stable etc and then £10 on top for ad lib hay and straw.
Which is fine in the winter but in the summer when Axey was living out 24/7 I felt it was a bit unfair to be paying for hay and straw when I wasn't really using any. Hence why my horse now has 2 massive haynets every night and the biggest straw bed you've ever seen

Sounds good to me! but must depend on where in the country you are and what others are paying for similar of course! no good me commenting as am up in cumbria and regional variation even from lancashire!!!
