Can anyone recommend good DIY and part-livery yards near Basildon?

In particular, does anyone know anything about Mill Green Equestrian at Ingatestone?

What are you priorities you need? There are quite a few yards in and around Basildon, are you near there at the moment.

Littlebear, thanks, it is actually for a friend who is moving shortly for work. She will have a fairly busy job, so is looking for either a good DIY / part-livery yard where she can call on some sensible help if she has to stay late at work OR somewhere more relaxed with 24/7 turnout where the horse can live a more natural lifestyle.

Pricewise, she is also wondering what the going rate is as she is as good as on the other side of the country right now.

I think she is more worried about getting the horse settled somewhere nice, and will look for accommodation a manageable distance from work and yard once he is sorted. She’s got her priorities sorted at least ?

I would join the group Essex horse riders and ask on there, there are so many place to choose from i could write you a long list but the prices are going to vary lots too.

Ingatestone isnt that close if she does diy and i thought mill green was closed but i may be totally wrong there!
