Hi

I am looking for a livery yard close to where I live in Lostock Hall in lancashire, this is in Preston. I would be happy to rent a field, have grass livery, but at the very least I would want to have the option of turning my 2 horses out evry day. If any one can help let me know. I would like a stable but this is not something I require, and I do not need riding facilities, as I only hack my horses.

Do you know the roundabout as you come off the M6 following signs for M55 then A6 Garstang?

Well, come off there and take the A6 Garstang road, first turning on your right, and it is a white farmhouse on your left with a trap in the front garden that is filled with flowers.

They have a couple of stables available on a DIY basis, and i *think* do just grass livery as well.

It isn't the smartest yard in the world, but the guy who owns it seems really nice.

They breed Irish Draft horses, and have an ID stallion there who is gorgeous

Stable and turnout there is £20 a week, not sure on grass livery prices.

No school though.

We may be too far for you, but we are in PR4, just off the M55. We have all year grazing, indoor school, smallish yard and a friendly bunch! We also do grass livery (depending on what we have on at the time - if current liveries want this option they always get 1st refusal).
have a look at our site and have a nosey www.hillhousestables.co.uk our DIY stables are £18, £23 and £25 per week depending on which block they are in (that includes use of all the facilities, grazing etc)
i have a friend whos on a yard in longridge - not sure how far that would be away for you?
