Hi - as per title really. I need livery or grazing as I am moving to Derby at the end of Feb.

I will be living in Aston on Trent. I know Elvaston Castle is near but they don't offer any assistance. I'd need either field livery or part livery - preferably not full as i dont want to be paying out a small fortune for someone to do what i can do.

Help would be appreciated

Cheers

BTW - Place required for one gelding , upgrading to two in the near future :)

I wouldn't touch Elvaston with a barge pole! It has gone massively down hill recently. It's a bit of a funny area, riding isn't great. I come from the next village to Aston. I know there are spaces at my old yard. Very very cheap (8.50/week!), you'd have a nice 15x15 stable and grazing but thats it! Farmer owns and very much DIY! It isn't the tidiest of places but you get what you pay for! Thats in Shardlow.
There is one alot of people recommend on the edge of Borrowash..will try and remember its name!
I have moved mine more towards Ashby, riding is much better over that way - National Forest.

Thats a shame re Elvaston as its in about the best location it seems. Barely anything comes up on internet searches. Thanks for the info - could you let me have the details of the one in Shardlow please - price sounds fab and its not too far really!! PM if you prefer.

Thanks a lot much appreciated

I used to keep at Hargate and loved it, really nice people.

Others to try are:

Barleyfields, also good ratings, no idea about the following anymore:

Highfield House Farm, Barrow on trent, google it)
Fryms house livery (again google it for contact details)(used to be ok, large DIY yard, pretty clicky, but times change!!)
Lansdowne riding stables, (wasn't great years ago, but may have improved)
