livery, stable, grazing in leicestershire

hi i am looking to move to leicestershire mid august, still trying to find a nice house to rent? does anyone know of a good livery yard or a small private place for rent even better if there is a house attached or local/ any ideas welcome thanks ( looking within a 1/2hr drive to town centre for house and yard, maybe more for right place?)

Have a look on www.wellandvalleyfeeds.co.uk then go into Small Ads. They have lots of yards in the Leicestershire area. Might be worth putting up a wanted ad on there too, in respect of a house with or without grazing?

Looking at the northern side it may be worth contacting local estate agents such as Shoulers in Melton Mowbray or Freckletons in Loughborough - I know they have a letting department. EA Lane in Leicester also tend to deal in more agricultural type settings. .You could try drafting a notice and sending to the Clothes Horse in Syston, Cooks Farm Shop in Newtown Linford and the large feed stores in Melton and Market Harborough - the names of which escape me for the moment. Sorry not so good on Leicestershire to the south. The local paper the Leicester Mercury has a property guide feature every Saturday which may provide you with a few ideas on agents to ring re lettings. Hope you sort yourself out. Regards

If you want good hacking, I recommend looking at some of the yards out towards Melton Mowbray/Oakham way. There are a couple of good livery yards in the area and it takes about half an hour to get to Leicester.
