After all the faffing and confusion this is where we are going, does anyone know of or have spare livery in Staffordshire or shropshire, we will need easy commute to birmingham so thats the kind of area we are looking for June

Its for 1 welsh sec A mare

there's a big livery yard just off J11 of M6, i used to go there to use the big indoor school. can fish out the number if you like.
i used to live up near J12 M6, know some people you could ring in that area if it helps.

Hello! Which part of Shropshire are you moving too? I think there's more livery choice in South Shropshire from what I have experienced. There is always plently on different farms and then there's a few livery options.

Aston Manor Liveries is on the shropshire staffs border and about 5 minutes from junction 16, would take about 40-45 mins to birmingham i think. absolutely lovely people, brilliant facilities, all year turn out, 110 acres, indoor & outdoor school etc. its on the internet.

Beaverhall in Staffordshire is lovely and care is excellent but not sure if it's commuting distance. They have a website if you wanted a look.

thanks all not sure where we will be yet , we will move to where we can get the horses lol

Work will be birmingham so need somewhere that easy to visit then go to work

Just bear in mind that a 45 min journey under normal conditions will be about double that with the M6 morning and evening traffic...

If you want to commute into Brum then I would be looking around Telford/Shrewsbury/Wellington sort of area, maybe up to Newport and N Shrops/S Staffs border. I used to know a few yards, could probably find out some names from friends who are still over there.

What sort of facilities do you want?

I have space - just off the A41, 30 minutes from Jct 3 M54 between Newport and Market Drayton.
Grass livery or DIY, alongside the Equine Market Watch residents and my own 2 at the sanctuary.
Loads of grass, barn style and conventional stables, home grown organic haylage, round pen and small outdoor school.
All depends what you want really - with a Sec A as most natives restricted grass is usually important in summer?.

chestnut cob - I think you helped me a year ago, when I was desperate to move, and I think I am now (via another yard) at the one you recoommended! I can't find the thread though, was the yard you recommended in Ellerdine?

Looking for bare minimum of turnout and a stable basically or shelter I can gate off

Depends on the grazing rich rye grass will cause her lammi

Some names and numbers would be great thanks all

Actually have to get into Dudley so hoping to be able to drive in missing M6, used to do it when my Ex lived there in about 30minutes from A38 i think
