Hello everyone,
I think there a few people on here from my neck of the woods and I wondering if you could reccomend me a good livery yard. I am looking for either part livery or maybe full but only on week days, preferably with an arena which can be used on an evening. Please feel free to PM if you know of anywhere. Thanks in advance

West Yorks. Where Last of the Summer Wine was filmed..

What about Woodnook arena in Meltham? Good experienced yard with two indoor arenas and shows/instruction available. Arenas are hired out sometimes, but must surely be available to liveries too..

thanks i know woodnook, it has really good facilities and lots going on which is great, but just wondering if anybody knows anywhere else, i have had a look on the livery list, but they are all a little far out for me.

Is hopton horse centre too far? It is about 10 miles from you and it looks OK from the website, thinking about going for a look myself (not sure if they have vacancies at the mo)

umm its a bit too far out for me, i already spend about £250 on petrol a month getting to work so 10 miles there and then 10 mile back would add up, I have had a look before hoptons website and it looks excellent, cross country course, shows etc but i think they only have vacancies for DIY livery at the moment, which is no good for me if its that far away, thanks though

I work near leeds so Staylbridge is in the wrong direction although its not too far and you have beautiful hacking, not sure i would get over saddleworth moors in the snow either, doesnt have to snow much before its closed.
