Hey, can anyone help me I need to find a DIY livery yard i live in fifield although i dont mind traveling for the right yard. I may go part if its not to expensive and a good service.

I have a very straightforward horse so we dont really have any special needs just want somewhere friendly and with a bit of turn out so he can go out for a couple of house each day i dont really know the area as i have just moved her so any help please.x

Hi Herons, I have just seen this and you might get a better response from posting this in the new lounge as I know quite a few people on here that DIY in that area.
It does make sense putting it in here but not everyone looks in this forum.
One I do know of is Ascot Paddocks but good luck with your search.

The only one I know in that area is Lee Farm, Pinkneys Green, Maidenhead.
I's a fairly big yard, they have a school and hacking is good. It's DIY but there is a freelance groom there that offers assistance. Fairly reasonably priced for the area too, I think £110pcm

There is a really nice yard in winkfield called Lyford Meadows. They have two outdoor arenas, walker, and turnout. I think the horses all get to go out for half the day each, so they will bring in/turn out at lunchtime depending if your horse gets am or pm turn out I think. I only used to have lessons with the owner not keep my horse there but every body always seemed friendly there.

Try looking in the local tackshops for ads as there are loads of small private yards around there that offer diy livery. Tally Ho has a good notice board, and millwheel tackshop is not far from you either. Both quite handy to get to know for feed and bedding etc too.
