Hi does anyone know of a nice livery yard in London/Surrey area?

I'm currently at Slough Farm in Claygate (just off A3 so good location) but the school there is very small and am hoping to move to somewhere with better facilities. I know that there is Manor Farm nearby with a school however, understand from people there that it is really difficult to get use of it as it is hired out and also used as turnout for horses in the evening (right when you would want to be using it).

Any help much appreciated!

Hi. I was at Manor Farm many years ago and really loved it. prior to that I was on livery with Marc when he had the Waffrons. That was when he was about 19 so way back! There are quite a few yards in Esher and Cobham. Have you thought of looking on the BHS website to get some ideas in that area. www.ridemyhorse.co.uk also has good links to livery yards.

Not sure how far you're wanting to travel but what about Pachesham in Leatherhead? They have superb facilities, not sure what sort of livery you'd be after though. Might be worth a look?

hi, i work/keep my horse stabled at woolgars farm. its in west horsley (between guildford and cobham) about 5 mins off the a3. they have an indoor and outdoor school and 500 acres to ride around plus uk chasers xc course. hacking off farm is also brilliant. no diy livery unfortunately, only full/part. about half of the livery owners come from london, thats why your post stood out! let me know if you want contact details/directions

go past one mini roundabout and up a slight hill.
on brow of hill there is a turning on your left signposted woolgars farm. road is called blakes lane but doesnt really look like a road!
Stables about 200yards down on left.

dont know postcode but if will find out if u need it for sat nav

Can vouch that the school at manor farm is normally ok to use! They have an outdoor and indoor, and I don't think they like turning horses out in either! As for slough's school being small, are you sure? It looked massive last time I looked! What are your riding? some sort of elephant?!

My yard just does full and part livery,we do have a brand new school with cushionride surface,it is all weather, floodlit and on the Epsom /Chessington borders,Tel 07780996344

We are in Dorking on top of Ranmore so fantastic hacking and no (OK, one small road) roadwork - quite a few Londoners at our yard too - and I used to live in Fulham before moving down here and made the commute. Quite a few of us down in the evening too....
