How about race course farms?
In portbury but only s couple of minuted further than Failand from clifton.
They have good facilities and offer extras like turning out, bringing in etc.
There are lots if yards around, not far from the uni.
You might consider living just out side bristol, congresbury or surrounding, keeping your horse near there, (lots of yards) then driving into bristol from there.
There is a park and ride in long Ashton and other buses if parking was a problem, leave your car just out side and bus or cycle/walk in!
Then when you are studying at Langford you and horse will be closer and away from bristol town!
