Hi All

i d love you to share your experiences and in particular recommend anywhere nice for me to move my 2 girls in or around Blyth, Cramlington area please

I'm new to yards ( as used to have my own lil place ) and love everything about my current yard except I cant get a decent schooling session in due to no facilities

I'm looking for reasonably priced DIY livery with at least a decent outdoor and preferably an indoor , I like the horses to get out thru the day so dont like this enforced" their in for the next 4 weeks etc " , be great if hay and straw is all in price and not restricted as thats my current arrangements , and of course the icing on the cake would be that you can get in to use the school and small friendly atmosphere, here s hoping you can all offer your help , views and experience please

Thanks for your anticipated help

Hi,

I am in Northumberland but I am not too familiar with Blyth / Cramlingon yards - however if you go on NERiders forum you will find folk in that area willing to give advice I am sure!

Good luck!

Hi i'm around the Seaton Deleval area, think most the decent yards are full at the moment due to another yard being closed to turn in to housing... second the NE riders forum for suggestions.

Hi Dancearound...
I am in Blyth and have 2 ponies at a yard just 5 mins away nr Cramlington, I think the 3 yards around me are all full as Vodkagirly said, if you want to pm me I can give you details of mine (prices etc)although not sure if any vacancies here either, not the cheapest around but good turnout and brill hacks (no main roads) we have an outdoor school floodlight etc

ah thanks all :-) shall register on ne riders n have a lil looksie on there thankyou, and shall pm the lovely re commendation rte nr cram thanks :-) well at least the light nights are starting, good for the soul n sneaky rides after work :-) thx

hi, im currently in bedlington ( may be a bit far for you) but ive heared gloucster lodge ( could have spelling wrong but if you google it it will come up) its in blyth right next to the beach, have x-country course too! we nearly moved there but was a bit far for us to travel every day but heard its a super yard

vodka girly, thx, even if full whats your views, worth joining a waiting list if you got great feedback ? Louey, thx yes Plessey was perfect except the winter in most day and night :-( great if you got time to ride once / twice a day but sadly I aint , ( i wish ;-) ) fat lad yep that may be option but bet there a waiting list, yeah close to beach , nice, even in the snow lol , thx again all , must go join NE Riders

I only have experience of Red house farm and Gloucester Lodge and would recomend them both, lovely people on both. Red House has more facilities, including outdoor & indoor school, rug driers, loads of storage but Gloucester Lodge is cheaper and has good outdoor and xc course. Both have turnout everyday, through the day.
Seaton Lodge and Hall farm both have decent facilities I believe but I've got no experience of them.
