I'm looking for livery yard recommendations for my pony. Ideally grass livery that's on an assisted or part basis. I'm looking in the Woking area and don't really want to travel more than thirty minutes from there. I've done a Google search and have found Clandon and Millstream House offer this. Does anyone know anything about these, or can recommend any others? I know that tracks are now being recommended so if anyone knows of one of these please let me know.

Hello, welcome! 😁 I'm a long way from you but I hope you find somewhere. Just a thought - do you have a local FB page you could ask on? This forum is great & do stick around but it's not the best for very local issues.

Thank you for the reply. I do trawl through FB, and have put up a post, but haven't really found any more options than the ones in my first post. The problem is that the really good yards tend to be hidden away as they never need to advertise. Places get filled through existing liveries.

Hi, Clandon Park has relaunched last year and Lady Onslow is very on the ball, facilities are good, grazing seems to be rotated well, much is on clay but well managed.
Westhall in Byfleet has only herd group full grass livery turnout with mares and geldings seperate, limited riding.

Is it retirement you are looking for, or somewhere you can ride from? If the latter, you'll struggle for out 24/7 in the Woking area, you'll need to almost go yard knocking for that.
