Livery Yard wanted - Oswestry / Ellesmere area

I am looking for a livery yard in the Oswestry / Ellesmere area. I am looking for two spaces - one for a quarter horse gelding & the other for a TB/Trakener mare. Ideally i am looking for a yard with an arena, space for the trailer, good grazing & hacking etc but I am willing to compromise if the yard is safe & friendly.

Can anyone help?

I'm the other side of Oswestry :)

The only one I know in Oswestry is Oswestry Equestrian Centre. They have a good website if you Google it. I know of a couple of Riding Schools who do liveries but from what I've heard I wouldn't like to recommend them.

If you find any and would like opinions, pm me, as I have a few people I can ask for you :)

Can't give you a personal opinion on any, as I keep mine at home.

There is a livery yard in Upper Wigginton, just outside the village of St Martin's, between St Martin's and Ellesmere. It's in the middle of really small country lanes so the best thing is to drive to St Martin's, take Church Lane, eventually follow the left hand fork sign-posted to Upper Wigginton, at the T junction turn left and the yard is the first farmhouse on your left. The have good turn out, a very good large school, nice friendly place, hacking is mainly road work. They usually have a waiting list, but worth having a chat with them.
 
I reccomend Trench Villa stables in Ellesmere, I had wonderful time there! indoor and outdoor schools, all year turn out, space for trailers and all realy friendly and helpful people.

I know this a very old thread but I was wondering if you knew if this yard was still open and have been to it recently?
