I am new to this forum but lots of useful information out there shared by you lovely people.

I am moving to the Wirral soon as was wondering if anyone can recommend any yards near Neston?

I am looking for either part livery or grass livery with a school ideally.

Any ideas ?? Please pm me if you can think of any.

Any help greatly appreciated

Thanks

Have a look on www.wirralhorse.co.uk

Backwood livery is very nice and has great facilities, they do full livery and DIY though I'm not 100% sure if they do part. That's in parkgate so only down the road from neston though it is pricey! I dont really know much about yards at that end of the wirral but i think there quite a few yards around willaston, Thornton hough etc. woodville is in Thornton hough and I think does part livery and has an indoor (not sure of cost), New Barn which i think is around Raby i believe is nice and do part livery (i think i was told its about £75 a week) and has a nice school etc. I know people have been struggling to find space on DIY yards lately as everywhere seems to be pretty full, not sure if that's the same for part livery but you might struggle to find grass livery. Good luck!

Hello I am a fellow Wirral person. Whereabouts are you moving too and how far will you be willing to travel? The Wirral is the most horse populated area of the UK per square mile just to warn you which has pros and cons

I think I have seen you post on wirral horse?

My biggest tip would be to go and have a look around. There are quite a few working farm type liveries on the wirral which tend to have a lot of land for riding but can also be a bit muddy and rustic. Are you looking for a lrage busy yard or somehwere quite? Feel free to PM me if you want to pick my brains

Think your thinking if bank farm where claire dutton is that's very nice and £75 a week part, Backwood only has full livery, pinfolds in capenhurst has good facilities, a few miles from Neston though. Most of the yards around Wirral seem to be part or full livery now! There's also oaktree and four oaks, but thu k they might be full livery? They all are listed on Wirral horse! Good luck

Yes you're right I do mean bank farm, don't know why I thought new barn!!! There are some Facebook groups that might be worth posting in to see about availability, anything equine Wirral springs to mind (though can be a bit full of annoying kids, not meaning to offend anyone!!)
