Hi does anybody know of any good yards roughly on the Crediton/Okehampton side of Exeter? Suitable for a dressage horse ie arena with mirrors!! Thanks

I don't know much about it but one of our RC instructors has just booked some dates at Chapelthorne E C near Spreyton, Ex17 5AR. All I know is that it has an indoor school so might be worth investigating.
Uoton Pyne is on the Crediton side of Exeter too and there's Newhall just north of Exeter (both have websites).
Hope that helps!

They are few and far between around there, not catered for much down this way. There is 1 on just other side or okehampton that has a mirror in their 20x40 indoor. Not sure what Bow has these days.Otherwise, worth ringing upton pyne or newhall.

The one near Spreyton seems to have minimal grazing and a pretty awful surface but it may have improved since we last went there.
There is a yard at The Glebe equestrian Centre in Whitestone which has a fab indoor surface with mirrors, and the owner is very obliging. (they also seem to have a great social life going on there with barbecues etc)
I don't think The Grange offer livery anymore?
There are a couple of yards near Crediton, one at Holcombe and another near Bow, pm me for details.
Or of course if you want stunning views and a 60 x 20 outdoor arena you can look at us. We have lovely stables and it's very peaceful with few liveries. We are about 35 mins from Exeter near Moretonhampstead.
I don't think Bosworth on here has mirrors but she's 5 mins off the okehampton junction and she runs a good yard.
If you need more info email me.

Had forgotten about the Glebe. I take it has changed hands again as few years back I did trailblazers there and they were talking about BD but they seem to hold nothing now!

Only bad thing about the Glebe is the very very steep hill coming out the village before, my lorry always used to struggle up that hill!!

barrons wood is in crediton, apparently it was being reopened, i went for a look in november and it was still locked up.

Can confirm Newhall is lovely, has two indoor schools (one about to be resurfaced) with mirrors, and a new outdoor, 60 x 30, top of the range surface.. All about 10mins drive from Exeter too.
