Does anybody know of any livery yards based in Cudham, Knockholt (I dont even know where that is but people keep mentioning it?) Biggin Hill, possibly westerham that offer the following?

Good all year turnout - in small groups no huge herds
Nice big airy stables - her horses are 16.3
5 day or 7 day livery she doesnt want DIY due to work commitments
Good sandschool that doesnt flood - she is a primarily a dressage rider
Good knowledgable Caring staff

My friend is moving to Bromley/West wickham (from france) with her horses at the end of November and cannot find anything that fits the bill at all in bromley or west wickham, so wanted to see if anyone had any reccomendations for any yards in the areas above or similar?? or a 10mile radius of bromley area? or if anyone knows those areas in particular (I dont) is she searching for the impossible? many thanks

I can't believe that none of the yards just out of WW going into Keston/Hayes wouldn't be suitable, there are tonnes!

Check out this thread for some ideas (although I think that poster was looking for DIY)

From what I cn remember I'm fairly sure Fortune Bank, Foxhill Farm, Northpole, Fairchildes, Farleigh Court and Bromley Common all (or at least used to ) offer full/part livery, plus I have friends who keep horses at full livery at Beechwood Riding School (although I think they have limited place)

I've just purchased a horse from the Bromley Common Liveries - not the prettiest yard but the stables seemed a good size, the facilities (outdoor arena with floodlit lights) seemed fine & I believe this yard was much more caring (the staff members) compared to the last yard where my horse was kept at (A professional show jumpers yard).

Beechwood are very good - three outdoor schools, small indoor school and indoor stables but the track up to the yard is a nightmare!! Hacking lovely there though.

Fortune Bank and Foxhill Farm are for sale as far as I know. Fairchildes is nice enough but I think has big herds, Fickleshole has small herds and fabulous 60x40m pasada arena, big internal boxes and some outdoor ones but strictly DIY. Farleigh Court does livery I think and so does Bromley Common - they have 2 outdoor schools and a lunge arena but it is a big yard.

If you can come more Warlingham direction there is Holt Farm - they do flexible livery so you pay for DIY rates and pick and choose the days you want to have livery on. Nice rubber outdoor school and just building a second arena. It's only a small yard so small herds. Next door to Holt Farm is Jenny Barry's place (dont know name of yard) again small yard but has an arena. The other side of Holt Farm is Forever Green and also Hazelwood.

I don't know it but have heard about Cacketts and is it Capricorn livery yard in Knockholt. Downe Court has an indoor school and do DIY/part and full livery I think but is not the prettiest yard!

There are loads of others I can think of I'm sure. PM me if you want more details/contact numbers!

Thanks guys, seen Bromley common liveries, northpole, wickham court and downe court but none were suitable she saw most of the yards on Layhams Road i think its called. Where is Beechwood? Lifeofriley can anyone tell me anymore about Jenny Barry's place,Forever Green and also Hazelwood?

Capricorn is more Swanley areas I think but she really liked that just may be a tad too far and I will tell her about Caketts as I have heard of that too. x

Beechwood is in Woldingham http://www.beechwoodridingschool.co.uk

Hazelwood is Warlingham, Surrey http://www.newrider.com/cgi-bin/ecl...esults_format=long&db_id=1457&query=retrieval

Jenny Barry's place is at the junction of Church Lane and Scotshall lane in Warlingham - about 2 minutes drive from Hazelwood and has a school and possibly about 7-10 boxes??? Land is divided into paddocks and as far as I know she does part and full livery. Next door to Jenny's place is Holt Farm http://www.holtfarm.co.uk/ and next to that is Forever Green (near to the Bull pub) (The Bull Inn, Chelsham Common, Warlingham, CR6 9PB) as far as I recall owned by someone called Phil and Julie (?) Parmenter. Has outdoor stables and indoor american barn, outdoor school and horsewalker.

Why were the others not suitable? If you let me know why and what you are looking for I might be able to direct you to a more suitable place?!!
