Hey guys! I am moving to London this summer and I am wanting to take my horse with me(of course!) Does anyone know/recommend any good Livery yards in the London area. I would be looking for DIY/possibly part livery, with turnout facilities, good off road hacking and good transport links as I would be relying on public transport to get there. Thanks so much for any help, it is much appreciated!:D

London is huge, I live on the outskirts of the south west and keep my horses further out in West Byfleet.

You need to look at a more specific area. It would take me over 2 hours to get to east London by public transport so looking at London as a whole doesn't work.

Do u know what area of London you are moving to?

you'll find turnout to be the biggest issue. The vast majority of yards near London have very limited turnout (some have none at all in winter).

Two I know of that are do-able by public transport are Budges in Harold Wood (fifteen minute walk from Harold Wood Station) and Weald Place Farm (Thornwood, Epping - short bus ride from Epping Station on the Central Line, easier to get to then it sounds). Both have very good turnout, decent facilities and good hacking.

If you are moving to West/South-West London then I could probably recommend a few places, but like others have said London is huge so you need to be more specific :-)
