I have decided I need to move yards once again. Gutted, because I love my current yard, and the people and owners are amazing. However, with my shifts at work, I need somewhere that has flood lights to ride in, so...

Suggestions of good yards with indoor school preferred, or at least outdoor with good flood lights? Looking for DIY, as I'm lucky enough to have 2 sharers to help me out when needed.

I like crosslanes farm on reading road in arborfield, but I can't find any contact details anywhere?

Thanks in advance :)

Would Pangbourne be to far for you, as we have a couple of spaces at the yard I am at. Fab hacking, outdoor all weather menage with lights & jumping field in summer!

Yeah it would be unfortunately! I live south Reading, town side of earley, so anywhere around here would be best :)

Thanks anyway!!

Sorry, just realised its all from you Dubsie, thank you!

Don't suppose I can be cheeky and ask if anyone has a preloved account they can get me the number for cow city? Xx

I know amners very well, just the wrong side of the A33, do you know if they have spaces though and I will google alternative routes lol

Thanks xx

If it helps I find J11 to not be a problem anymore at pretty much anytime of day since they did the junction, so I'd not worry too much about the A33.

I go from J12 to a yard just outside Hook in 20 mins at 5.30 now. :) For me it's worth the drive.

Bluehouse farm in mattingley have an indoor and was £30 a week DIY when I was there 2 years ago, but there are reasons why I left, nothing horrific though. ;)

Friend of mine was at landsend which might be more your way for a bit and that was pretty reasonable priced and also had an indoor. Was prone to flooding though.

whereabouts do you live? I live in lower earley, but kind of near Earley if you know what I mean - near Elm Lane, so I imagine not far from you! It takes me 10/15 mins to get there so it isnt bad at all.

There are spare stables around but not sure whether there is a waiting list for them or people coming or anything like that.

I'll be interested to see if you find anywhere really nice, I'm happy at amners but always interested in seeing if there may be something better out there, just in case ;)

There's Hatch Farm in Sindlesham, next door to Nivana Spa?

Re Amners, they don't do assisted DIY livery do they? If not, why not!!! :D

Suzie86 you live 4 mins away from me :-)

Amners do offer turnout I think, if not there are people there who will turnout for £1, and plenty of people to share the turning out and bringing in with.

Thanks suzie86 and the hairy one!

Just googled the route to amners from where I am, and it's literally 16 mins away from me! This is good lol.

Suzie86, if you don't mind me asking, how much do you pay, and how much pony club stuff actually goes on there/gets in your way?

Thank you for all the replies, shall give Amners a call later today in more sociable hours lol
