Can anyone recommend a livery yard near Reading, Berkshire. Just a livery yard, not riding school.
Must have a flood lit all weather arena and good staff.
Either part or DIY livery.

depends which side of reading you want and how far you want to travel. Theres loads of yards hurst/binfield way that i could suggest if thats the kind of area you're looking at?

shame it's that side of town. Would defo recommend where my lot are now. Its a farm, but has fantastic school, floodlit, lunge pen with good surface, when the spring comes we also have dressage field with markers and jumping field with jumps out all summer. School is always available too!

Parking for vehicles, lovely laid back YO who knows her stuff. She does DIY purely or will do party DIY to full livery. Very reasonable too.

Depends how precious owner is as we do have barbed wire, but to be honest I prefer it. Have only ever seen two horses killed from fencing myself and both were post and rail fencing!

Horses have a bit more respect for it. Fields are huge, seperated herds and horses that come in each day are also separated. Its well run and functional and YO has been an absolute saviouir as I have had to move some of mine in and out of the yard like mad lately! Always happy to help and one of the few people i would trust in asking for sound advice.

PM me if it sounds any good x

Also allowed to hack on the land all year round which helps on those early dark winter nights!
