I am looking for a livery yard in the Notts/Derby border area (close to junction 25 or 26 M1) must have floodlit school, private paddocks, good hacking, and offer turn out service. I am currently at a lovely yard but it is quite far away especially as i now have nobody to turn my 2 quirky competition mares out. I am therefore looking for a yard with professional staff that wont be afraid of the occasional display of spirited behaviour ! ( No rearing though ) . Any suggestions welcome. Also as i really like this yard i would be able to offer the right person £20 a week to turn out Monday - Friaday. (Arnold area) Thanks :)
 
Junction 24 wouldnt be too far if there was confident staff available to turn out in the morning that are used to handling horses that can be spirited. I dont really seem to have any problem with turning then out ( occasionally the run off) but they do tend to play up for staff especially when they know they are scared of them or if they get shouted at. Basically they are tempremental mares !
 
In that case, I am at a great yard in Barton in Fabis. Very very well run, good facilities (large outdoor school, indoor school and great hacking, including our own gallops). The yard manager is brilliant, reliable and very hard working.
