Livery yards South East UK?

Hi all,
I've got a bit of a dilema. The house, land and livery yard I am currently at is going on the market around April and even though it will be marketed with a running business I am a bit worried that we may be given short notice to leave if anyone that buys it does not wish to keep us! :( It is only 6 boxes and 8 acres and the owner of the property rents it to my yard lady.
So I have started to look around to see what else is about. I am looking to move 2 horses, one definitely full livery and my retired thoroughbred full/part depending on what part livery entails. At the moment I am getting a deal for having the 2 which helps heaps.
Can anyone recommend good yards in the south east? I am based on the coast near Newhaven and don't want to have to travel too far. I also would like good facilities, at least a full size school preferably indoors and good hacking.

How far do you want to travel out of Newhaven and which area? I have helped out with others trying to find livery yards on the H&HF. Can I ask you which village your horses are located at present?

Hi greysmeadow,
We are currently in Alfriston, poss going to look at Golden Cross on sat. I suppose Crockstead is about as far as I would want to go, that would be about half hour to 40 min drive from me now which is plenty!
I would like to stay round the south downs area as the riding is so good!

Just recently a saw an advert for livery in Polegate, but for life of me can't remember where I saw the ad! I think there is a lot in that area though, which would be ideal for you!
 
Hi all,

Going on a mass yard hunt Sat afternoon after a ride. Will check out Golden Cross, Crockstead and Rowebuck Stud.
Greysmeadow - did check Fridayad, can't remember name of yard but will be out that way so will have a look.
