Hello

A friend of mine is considering taking the desperate step of moving darn sarf for work.

She has some flexibility about where she goes and she is interested in Livery Yards in and between Oxford and Swindon.

She is willing to consider Grass/DIY/Full/Part as she has not quite decided what she will do. She has more than one horse and may be taking a few with her so she might need a number of stables.

Any ideas?

Many thanks.

Hi
There are quite a number of livery yards between the 2 on the A420, particularly around the Faringdon area which is about half way between Oxford and Swindon.
It pretty much depends on how rural your friend wants to be and how far off the main road. If she goes over towards Uffington the riding's great up on to the Ridgeway.
A yell.com search does bring up about half a dozen or so which would be a good start

I don't know any personally I'm afraid so can't recommend but there are a lot of lovely looking yards in the area.
Sorry I can't be of more help.

We are just off A40 in Witney, near Aston, we have about 6 empty stables ATM. Working farm & quite cheap, ranging from £15.50 to £18 pw, inclu stable, field & straw.

All year turnout and little school.
