I thought I'd give some positive feed back about these clippers, as the day I bought them someone posted on here about how rubbish their blades were and other people were slating them.

I've been clipping for about 10-12 years and I've always used my liveryman arena's! they are very good clippers but I have a sensitive young horse, who I think would have a paddy with them! so I got myself the harmony's a couple of weeks ago! just got the chance to use them!

They were brilliant, so quiet, not much louder than my hairdressing clippers and to be honest, not much bigger either! I was a bit concerned that they'd not do a very good job! especially as I have a very fluffy connie x tb! but they were just as good as my main clippers! had no issues whatsoever getting through his coat! they didn't get at all hot, my other clippers do, even though I stop every 10 mins to clean and re-oil.

these clippers made my horses first clipping experience nice and easy for me! despite the wind blowing like made and him being annoyed about not going out until 10.30, he didn't have any paddies about being clipped! which is a miracle as it took me 3 years before he'd accept fly spray and being hosed off!

I love my liveryman harmonys
My lad hates clippers, first time I turned normal clippers on near him he reared up and put his head through the roof, resulting in a large vet bill and a large bill for the new roof.
He will let me clip everything except his ears with the harmonys.
My medium blades have done 4 full clips on a hairy yeti horse and only now need sharpening

I think they have got better, mine are a few years old now and I like them a lot. The battery lasts incredibly well but the on/off switch on the side of mine drives me crazy as I always knock it off just as I get to a sensitive area. I buy Masterclip blades at 1.5mm, they do a better clip on my horse than the medium or extra fine blades.
