Help! I have some 2 year old Liveryman Harmony Plus trimmers. They are clipping perfectly well but when I try to charge them, they start to beep and flash the red light. I took them off charge and they felt rather warm too.

Anyone else had this?

I use them every week for Rigsby's feather, so they have been quite well used in those 2 years. The blades aren't quite snapping into place either.

Is it this? From p10 of the destructions. Though I've run the battery down before and often had the flashing red light display, but no beeps.

During use, a flashing red LED and buzzer will give a 30 minutes warning before the battery expirers. It is recommended to charge the battery for 3 hours before its first use, or where the battery pack has not been used for several months.

No, it doesn't beep when I use it, just when it has been charging for a few minutes.

It did it once before, about a month ago, but not since. Now it won't charge without beeping.

Ah, Mr Red has had a look and thinks I have used the charger belonging to the leaf blower. I changed charger and it now seems to work. Doh! Although, I would have thought they would be interchangeable!

So now it is just that the blades are awkward to seat properly.
