People that have the Harmony Plus clippers....can I have your honest opinions please.

At the moment I have the Easytrek Cordless clippers but looking to change to a handset that I can use as a clipper and a trimmer.

Harmony Plus seems to fit the bill but before I buy, I would like to know how people find them.

mine can manage a full welshie coat, only downside for me is the battery life, but you can get the battery packs for them.

i did manage to do a “nice” full clip and a very hasty full clip out of 1 charge - even if they weren’t dying, baby pony was fed up by that point anyway🤣🙄
 
Love mine. they manage to clip my 2 Connies, both have a full clip. One charge just manages a full clip and they recharge really quickly. Lovely and quiet and easy to get around the awkward bits on their legs!
 
I've switched to Heiniger Xplorer for full clips, but the Harmony could easily manage the full clip when I was using them. They slice through cob feather and barbed wire mane with no problems. And the quietness, lightness, and lack of vibration in your hand is just lovely.
 
Love mine, i got them when i had an irish yeti to clip who was terrified of clippers.
They easily coped with his coat and with my Welshies coat.
 
I've used them in the past to do a blanket clip! and didn't have any issues with them! but now I have got big cordless clippers and i'd not dream of going back to the small ones! I do use them as a trimmer though. they're supper quiet
 
Love mine! I use them on my hairy cob, predominantly to remove her feather but will also do a full clip. I have an assortment of blades and also splashed out on the battery pack. Quiet and low vibration, they are excellent for clipper phobic horses!
 
I love mine, quiet enough for my very sensitive welshie but still gets through a thick native pony coat. We have very good corded clippers but the rest of my family keep nicking my harmonys.. wouldnt mind if they left them clean and sharp!

I do find the latch that fastens the blades on gets a bit stiff though, mine the red button that flips it out doesnt work (just unlocks) so i feel like i need 3 hands to change them. Great otherwise though! I have the battery pack so when inevitably i go to clip and some prat has borrowed them and drained them for me I have half a chance!
 
Don’t like them takes forever to do a full clip . Horse has to be bathed as the blade will blunt otherwise. Good for spooky and young horses blades don’t need to be tightened and you wouldn’t go wrong with them they are very good for someone who is not experienced with clipping as they are easy to use .

Decided they would do the trimming job but be a bit more grunt for full clipping especially with the battery pack.

I looked for ages at the Harmony but then the Avalons came up at a great price.

Are they as quiet as the Harmony? I am looking for something quiet for my young horse who has never been clipped and is noise sensitive.
