Hi all
My chaps are coping fine so far with living out......my question is, how have you found any thrush issues over a winter living out 24/7? My boy has always been in at night until now and I do have the option of a stable up the road but currently he stresses on his own and is happier with his buddies in the field.
He occasionally gets mild thrush and doesn't have the best frogs in the world. I treat with NT Dry which is amazing stuff and obviously clean his feet at least once a day (just to go back in the mud!!). Using bleach etc regularly is not an option and I found the green frog spray also quite abrasive, his frogs are not that tough...
How does everyone else keep on top of the "mud n wet" while keeping thrushy frogs at bay? They are not "bad" by any means I am just very aware that they could get worse if we get a wet winter which is forecast....
TIA!
