Going for a lesson on Friday PM in Severnvale... Junior selectors suggested that I went for a few to get my face known in juniors as I've missed the JRN phase, just gone straight from ponies to (hopefully!) juniors!

So I'm taking the mare (thanks again Christmas_Derby!!!) who I'm currently riding in a running gag... Has anyone had any lessons with her? Whats she like? and will I get b*llocked for riding in a gag (can always plan a change into a hanging snaffle if I have to!)

Any info appreciated on how much shouting she is going to do at me!!!

Your so lucky, wish I had made it to some when invited, but just to far for me to travel and nobody would take me!
Sorry this ain't any help, but just go and see what happens!!! Emily Llewyen (have no idea how to spell it!!) rides in running gag, so I see no probs!!!

Only had a couple of lessons years ago, though would have more at the drop of a hat. She's lovelyand I don't think at all scary - though it's all relative. Have fun, lucky thing....

I am based on her yard, she is really nice and well worth lessons. What time is your lesson ? She won't tell you off for using a gag but might be useful to take your snaffle with you as she may suggest ridinmg in it.

She was a guinea pig at the BHS national convention in October, and she seemed a lovely person, very sympathetic rider.

Siena Myson Davies was also a guinea pig, and jumped her horse in a gag, and did come under a bit of stick for it (not from Liz though, I hasten to add) The next day, she jumped it in it's normal snaffle, and it was absolutely fine!

Lizzel won't mind if you use a gag - however if you are going for dressage you will need to use your hanging cheek so she can see and help you with any issues. And lizzel isn't scary unless you don't bother to listen.
