Thanks for the posts. The vet keeps phoning me and I keep missing her. Waiting in house now. Message left said that she buted him lastnight and would have to wait until this afternoon to assess. He was still on 3 legs but bright.
I have spoken to a couple of people 'in the trade' who have told me that now the poison (fibulous ?) is in the foot, that is the worst news as you just cant get to it. Vet said that he flinched when she went to pick up his leg this morning. Mind you, considering the amount of invasive treatment he has had, im not at all surprised.
I have people saying 'let him go Helen, the vets know what they are doing', and I have others saying 'well, if he is bright, cant we hang on a bit longer'.
