Hi, does anybody know of any good loading experts in the North West, I have a slight issue with my 5 year old, as part of her training, I ave been taking her out every other week, either competing or fun rides, then she was given 6 weeks off.
so now when I went to load her she does like staying in the box.

i do travel on her own as I don't want her to get use to another horse, and she has a mirror in the wagon. She will gladly go up the ramp but soon as she reaches the top she some times she wants to come back down the ramp. I have practised for the last two weeks, on and off no issues, but because I want her to stay tied up she wants to come down, then if partition is closed she will paw then eat her hay, so I think I am at a good point, she will go up ramp and eat its jut the bit in the middle, nothing has ever happened to her since I've had her, I have tried two different types of trainers, but h reverts back after about two weeks and they both used gadgets, I've only just started using a rope headcollar.

just looking for a expert help nearer to the north west , otherwise i may contact Michael peace. Would just like the experience to be more pleasurable

Sorry, suppose to say doesn't like being in the box, I just want it to be a good experiance, with her being so young.

I think time will resolve your issue, and also try loading her with another horse. Sometimes an old hand will settle the younger horse and reassure them that it's OK to travel.
