LOAN CONTRACTS

i have one of my boys going out on short term loan (7/8mnths) and as ive never loaned a horse out before wondered if anyone has any links to a good contract??

hes just a happy hacker and ive said i will pay his insurace. the loaner is a police woman so im asuming she a trust worthy charecter! plus hes only moving round the corner from me

ide be greatfull for any any tips or advice!

The BHS have a template that you can copy and alter to put in what you want. We've just done one for our boy and we've made it pretty comprehensive so there can't be any misunderstandings x

The BHS contract is a good template, be careful how you word any changes in relation to insurance or vets fees etc.

Even tho she's a police women try and get some references etc.

I am going to duck and run for cover here as the fact that the loanee is a policewoman is not a reference to her character only her employment.

Get a good loan contract even if you are loaning to a Saint things can change.
