Well, after 6 months with my boy the lady who has had him on loan has bought herself a dressage horse so he's coming home.

He's been an absolute angel for her and her daughter but won't be able to work at the level that her horse will and she hadn't the space for them both.

It's going to be a tall order finding him another good home so I've resigned myself (and my wallet) that I'll be back up to 4 horses from the end of June . . . beans on toast for dinner!!

Whereabouts are you? There was someone in Leicestershire wanting to loan a 15.2h+ horse to do dressage on advertising on one of the big horse market websites! :)

Thats the only prob with loaning horses out, you always have to have the space to have them back.
Be thankful he has been well looked after and is coming bad in good condition, unlike some do.
But there is always, spaghetti on toast, eggs on toast, cheese on toast, see you can do loads with toast i know i do it often too lol

Is this Charlie? :(

Yep.

I spoke to the lady before I bought my new one and she was in love with him and wanted him for ages so I went ahead and started looking for a new one.

Shame, but I know people's circumstances change. I can manage with 4 at home in the short term and may be looking to move them all as the house is being sold at some points so who knows what will happen.

True, I can manage space wise in the short term but ideally not long term. Have been over to see him regularly while on loan and even competed him for her 3 weeks ago.

Good ideas for toast variations!
