so, my ponies loaners are perfect but there is a couple of things niggling at me, now i dont know wether i am just being picky so please tell me to be quiet if i am! so first of all, pony is extremely hyper and if not kept in regular work it will just build up and build up and he cannot contain himself, which his loaners are struggling to handle when he gets a bit silly! the thing is that he isnt in regular work now and is just being brought in and lunged alot which i dont agree with and rarely lunge! and now he isnt i regular work i can see him getting fatter which is not a good thing as he is a good doer. Now do i just say to her; do you want me to ride him a couple of days a week just to keep him ticking or would that be rude?!
 
Not rude at all, you do what is best for your horse, we sold a horse that needed more work than we could give him, he was so bored with us, he spooked at his own shadow, he became dangerous to ride, he is now back with us, having found a rider to keep him occupied. Long story
