Am going into my second year of uni in Sept, and after last year I don't think I have the time or the money to do Sky justice.
I know realistically keeping her myself is not an option, but I don't know whether to loan or sell her?
I really dont want to sell her, she's my perfect horse and obviously because she is Sid's sister I have a strong emotional tie to her as well.
At the same time I have fears about loaning...
1) Because of the horror stories you hear..
2) Because we loaned out my pony a few years ago and he came back in such a sorry state.
3) I'm really worried about her being 'ruined'. I know that may sound drastic, but she's so young and I think she could have such an incredible future ahead of her if she's brought on slowly and carefully.
4)The worry that she may be injured permanently or otherwise and I will be left with a horse I cant ride, yet still have to pay for.
Really unsure of the best thing to do...
Has anyone been in a similar situation? Any thoughts on the matter appreciated. Sorry for the essay!
