Is it just me or are there just no good old fashioned loan ponies available atm?

I've been elected pony-seeker for bosses [RushyJ lol!] daughter but am just coming up with blanks trying to find her one. Her current loan pony is up for sale instead now so am trying like to find her a new one, which is going to prove a challege as she is utterly devoted to her current pony, so big hooves to fill in for!!

I've tried our local pony club, other surrounding pony clubs, our hunt, riding club, other yards round here etc....but nada! There is just nothing round here atm that I can find. Keep getting offered enough project and youngsters but that's not what I'm looking for this time....she's had her share of project and quirky ponies to deal with, she really does deserve one that she can finally focus on her riding and have fun on progressing with her jumping and dressage etc on without hassle. Just really looking for an older ex PC/competition/hunting etc pony looking for a quieter life to show young rider the ropes to. Perfectly suited for older pony really as would be kept ticking over during term time light hacking and then during holidays do a few light schooling lessons with her, pony club things, maybe attend a couple of meets during winter, etc. Just really looking for a gentleman[or lady!] really that's up for a bit of work here and there and be willing enough to spend it's day being pampered for hours by her lol.

Anyone know of any good places or websites that would fit the bill at all or anything? I've got one very persistant kid that's adament about not being ponyless for long lol.

Taaaaa guys!

Gosh I've got the opposite problem that I have a 12 hand Dartmoor that's looking for either a little rider or alternatively would be suitable for lead reign and my 15 hand Arab that I'm looking to find a sharer for and I can't find anyone! I think my problem is that I want them to stay on our yard - but I've advertised through PC and all our local riding clubs and had no interest as yet.

If I were you I would send an advert to all the local riding clubs and ask them to put it on their websites (most of them have them now) In our area, Frampton Family and Kingsleaze were very helpful and put my advert on as soon as I asked.

Have pm'd you KosmicArab
