Looking for a horse or pony to loan or share around the Kettering area (no more than 25 min drive away) only reason I have registered to the forum as I'm not coming up trumps with my searches.
Bit of background
21 years old, 5ft 1" & under 8 stone. Employed I work in the afternoons/evenings Sunday-Thurs so I'm free working day mornings and Fri/Sat. Have own transport. Been riding since I was 12 started off riding school helper/worker been autumn hunting twice, done local shows etc before becoming more into polo.
Been looking for a loan as due to unfortunate circumstances the polo pony string I have helped with during polo season have had to be sold June this year. (had been with them for 5 years) Had been helping exercise (canter work), groom at matches and day to day care when full time groom was away roughly 2-4 times a week depending. Then during the off season I take lessons at a local riding school to keep fit/improve. Since ponies have left I am just doing lessons weekly.
Used to fit and forward going horses. Confident.
As I'm not in a financial position to buy my own at the moment I thought to loan first, just generally looking for something to enjoy/develop as a rider. To fill the hole left behind as I really miss the string and just being around horses.
If anyone has or knows good sites to look please do reply. Any help would be great
