In my experience most people won't be keen to loan their horse to a novice. Would you consider having more lessons first? You will find it a lot easier then. Otherwise, try the local tack shops and riding schools for notices. I bet your willingness to help around the yerd will help. Good luck!

i agree with becky (grace is a stunner btw) if u find a horse to share u will learn so much more than if u took on a horse on ure own as u will have another person at hand to teach u.also have u discussed any of this with ure instructor? i'm sure they will no better than any1 what u r ready for, and maybe help in finding a horse for u.
i've been riding 12 years in total, worked with horses for 7 and even i learn new things all the time as far as horses are concerned. try to get some yard time in also while ure waiting to find a horse and get in as much experience of handling and caring for horses as u can. having a horse is very rewarding, but at times it can b very time consuming, very hard work, and not very glamorous. getting time on a yard will give u a taste of how things will b with a horse on loan. but i'd definetly give the idea of sharing some serious thought. good luck in whatever u decide.
