Loaning advice please

this is my first post!!
I'm looking for a bit of advice, i'm looking to find a loan horse at the moment. basically i'm just after any advice people can offer me on loaning, and best practices. any help would be absolutely great! (And if anyone knows of something 16hh+ general alrounder in the leicestershire area for loan let me know!)

My advice (as an experienced loaner) would be to be 100% sure about the horse before you take it on. Ride it at least twice before you decide, maybe do a bit of schooling and jumping the first time then take it out for a hack the second time. Also would advise that you take someone experienced with you for a second opinion and make sure you have a contract with the owner before you take the horse.

And remember that finding a good horse to loan is very very difficult!!!
