Hi could any one offer some advice on loaning and loan agreements, am about to loan a pony for my child to do lead rein stuff on and would love any advice at all

I suggest you get a loan agreement first. You can download them from the internet. However you have to know if anything goes wrong you should put it in writing that 'THEY' are liable to ALL costs etc. Make sure they sign a copy and you keep a copy both with signatures you both agree to the terms.
 
When you have a pony on loan normally you will be responsible for everything. All feed, hay, livery, worming, bedding, tack, vets bills farriers etc etc.

I would highly recommend an agreement. This will set out what you can and cannot do with the animal. I would say that is the best way to go. Make sure you have everything in writing.
