Loaning

I advertised for a wanted, got quite a few egits ringing with very unsuitable horses, ive now got a tb on loan... that came from a post on here. lovely lad and ticked all the boxes and more!
 
I got the most enquiries from equineadverts.

And yes, alcohol to deal with the enquiries is probably wise!
 
I found a horse who I shared before full loaning on www.newrider.co.uk (or .com perhaps, can't remember...). Don't be put off by the 'new' part - I was far from a new rider, but had heard it mentioned on here as a good site for loans etc so had a look.

If it's a comp horse, rather than happy hacker, how about putting an ad in the book at Badgworth too, and/or the equivalent at the Hand?

I got my lovely loan mare from Equine Adverts. I like that site as you can narrow the search to geographical areas.

Oh yes, lots.

I loaned my supercob a month ago. Put him in Scottish Equestrian and made him sound really far more pottery/arthritic than he actually was.

Loads of replies, all sounding great until you speak to them and realise that actually they don't want a happy hacker at all, more a badminton horse. Strongly suggest email to filter!
