Local Honey for Head Shaking

Does anyone know just how local the honey has to be? Sorry it might be a dumb question but I'm guessing I can buy honey from in and around Oxfordshire (where we live) but does it need to specifically to have come from the village/town closest to where the horse is kept?

the closer the better, but the closest I could find was about 10 miles away and it certainly helped a bit.

I was told the same thing for my hayfever I bought some from about 10 miles away and it worked quite well for me but I guess the closer the better

Yes as it helps ease the allergy from pollen, from the trees, grass etc from the area where you live. So the closer the better!

I would suggest try the local Farmers Market - and if no honey ask other stall holders if they know anyone making honey locally.
